  • Mock Classes – Math, English, Science, and Social Studies
  • Department Tables – Staffed by Chairs. Stationed in commons areas throughout the building
  • “Cardinal Fair” – Tables for co-curricular programs. Staffed by coaches and sponsors
    • Large gym – Athletics
    • Small gym – Student media, Student Activities, Robotics, Speech & Debate, E-sports, AcDec, Technology
  • Presentations – Campus Ministry, Cardinal Support Services, Counseling, Leadership
  • Performances – Band, Choir, Theater, Orchestra, Belles
  • Dining Hall Menu Sampling

Join us for an evening of beer, wine, light hors d’oeuvres, and conversation with John Paul II High School’s President and Principal. Attendees will also hear from our Admissions team and current parents. Following the cocktail hour, you will have the opportunity to join a student-led tour of our dynamic campus.

INFORMATION NIGHT

The John Paul II High School Office of Admissions invites you and your family to attend one of our monthly Information Nights. Our Information Nights are designed to introduce you to our John Paul II High School community. The evening begins with a short presentation by our Director of Admissions, followed by an extensive tour of our dynamic campus. Tours are led by JPII students.

Join us for an evening with a panel of key community stakeholders who can share meaningful insights regarding student life at JPII. Topics to be discussed include academics, college counseling, student involvement, athletics, and fine arts.

8th GRADE VISITS

We’re sorry, but you missed the Open eighth (8th) grade visit dates.
No problem, go here to register for one of our monthly Information Nights.

Our Eighth Grade Visit program is offered to eighth grade students during the fall semester that they are applying to high school. During these intimate programs, your student will have the opportunity to:

We offer two types of eighth (8th) grade visits, Open or School Specific.

  • A School Specific visit – this is a visit that has been scheduled by JPII with your school. See dates for schools that have already been scheduled with JPII for a school specific visit in the following section.
  • An Open visit – If your school does not have a school specific program, please join us on Wednesday, September 13, or Wednesday, September 27, for an Open Visit.

ISEE Prep Course

Are you prepared to take the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE)*?
John Paul II’s ISEE Prep course will get you ready to confidently pass the ISEE.
Meet once a week for 5 weeks.
Tutors are all Mu Alpha Theta members.

The Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) is an admission entrance exam for grades 2-12. The tested material changes based on a student’s grade level, however, all exams include an unscored essay, which will be sent to the schools where you’re applying.

Yes. The ISEE exam will be offered at John Paul II High School on the following dates:

  • Saturday, December 9, 2023
  • Saturday, January 13, 2024
  • Saturday, February 3, 2024

Specific Shadow days have been set aside during weeks in October, November, January, February and March.
