“The greatest challenge to Catholic education in the United States today…is to restore to that culture the conviction that human beings can grasp the truth of things, and in grasping that truth can know their duties to God, to themselves and their neighbors.”
~SAINT JOHN PAUL II
John Paul II High School is an exceptional place of learning, dedicated to providing a superior spiritual, academic, athletic, and artistic experience in a competitive college preparatory environment. Our commitment and focus are placed on creating Catholic student leaders who are college-bound and ready to make an impact at both the local and global levels.
John Paul II High School’s college preparatory curriculum is a rigorous four-year program designed to foster the highest level of readiness, preparing students for their next step in the world.
We are committed to our mission: to develop leaders who are critical thinkers and effective communicators, committed to service and rooted in faith.
“It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives, the will to follow an ideal, the refusal to allow yourselves to be ground down by mediocrity, the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society.”

Dear Cardinal Family,
As we embark on this new academic year, I am filled with gratitude and joy to welcome each and every one of you to our beloved Cardinal Family! This year marks a significant milestone in our journey of faith and education as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of JPII’s founding. In my mind, that means that JPII is officially an adult. It is a testament to the grace of God and the dedication of all who have contributed to our mission of nurturing minds and souls.
As JPII reaches this milestone, like a 20-year-old entering adulthood, it has blossomed and matured, guided by the values of faith, knowledge, and service. Just as a young adult begins to discover their purpose and place in the world, so too has our JPII community flourished in its mission to cultivate compassionate leaders who are grounded in the teachings of Christ.
In addition to commemorating 20 years of blessings, I am grateful and excited to begin my third year as principal. As I reflect on the significance of the number three, I am reminded of the power of the Trinity and the abundant grace that flows through our school community. In Ecclesiastes 4:12, we are reminded that “a cord of three strands is not quickly broken,” emphasizing the strength we find in unity, faith, and fellowship. Likewise, in Matthew 18:20, Jesus assures us, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
Let us embrace this new school year with hearts filled with hope and love. May we continue to uphold the values of our Catholic faith, nurturing the gifts and talents entrusted to us by God. Together, let us strive for excellence in all endeavors, knowing that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
As we begin on this journey together, let us remember the words of Psalm 20:4: “May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.” May God bless each of you abundantly this academic year and beyond.
In Christ,
Kayla Brown
Principal
