International students must meet the same requirements as all other students and be fluent in English, reading, writing and speaking. International students must demonstrate their English ability through the admissions process and also by taking either the TOEFL or the iTEP SLATE and must interview, in person, prior to acceptance.
All international students who wish to be considered for admission to John Paul II High School must complete the following:
An I-20 will not be issued until the student is accepted as a student at John Paul II High School. Once the I-20 has been issued, the student must enter the country on the F1 to enroll in classes at John Paul II High School.
Any international student enrolling for the first time at John Paul II High School will be assessed an additional fee of $7,500.00.

Yes. John Paul II High School admits international students on a case by case basis each year.
No. Host families/guardianship is the sole responsibility of the applicant.
No. International applications should plan to apply during the normal application season (October through July) and plan to start the first (1st) semester (August).
Yes. Minimum scores are as follows:
Yes. We will accept a PSAT score or other standardized test score that has been pre-approved by our Admissions Office, in place of the ISEE test.
Yes. Accepted and enrolled students will be issued an I-20 once the application process is complete (grade evaluation, online app, test scores, face-to face interview, essay, teacher recommendations) AND full tuition and international student fees have been paid.
