On behalf of the Cardinal Family, welcome to John Paul II High School!

We are in the midst of a new era in Cardinal Athletics, where the expectation from our coaching staff is simple: outwork everyone.

It’s an expectation that we believe places our student-athletes in the best position for them to excel on and off the field of play. A hard-nosed, consistent work ethic is essential to their success, whether it’s on the gridiron, in the classroom or in their own personal lives. It’s a message they hear constantly from our team of dedicated coaches.

But teaching our student-athletes how to play a game is only part of what we do.

We teach our student-athletes to develop the self-discipline to endure, to trust in their teammates and coaches, to become resilient in the face of failure, and to exhibit humility when achieving success. It’s been my own experience as a former collegiate and professional football player that these are ultimately the lessons that will serve our student-athletes the most in their future endeavors.

It is truly a privilege for me to be a part of this Cardinal Family.
