Before Your First Day

Step 1 - Enroll
Enroll to Save Your Seat

To secure your seat in the Cardinal Family, submit the $750 online enrollment fee no later than Friday, March 27th.

Enrollment Steps
  • Click HERE to access Cardinal Connect
  • If you have forgotten your login credentials, please click on the "Forgot Login" or "First-Time Login" link. 
  • Select the tab with your student's name. The tab is located in the top-left corner of the page.
  • Under their name/address, you will find the 'Decision' tab. Click that tab and select, 'Yes, I'm coming.'
  • The contract will appear above his/her name/address. Click 'Contract(s) to Accept.'
  • Click the 'Start' button. This will take you to the contract.

Step 3 - Select Courses

New students will receive an email from JPII's Director of Counseling outlining the course selection process, which runs from April 1 to April 17, 2026. All courses must be selected by April 17, 2026.

Transfer students will be contacted after enrolling.

Step 4 - Schedule Exams
Schedule Your Placement Exams
English & World Cultures
  • Honors: ISEE Stanine 6+ in BOTH Verbal Reasoning and Reading Comprehension*
  • College Prep: Stanine below 6 in Verbal Reasoning and/or Reading Comprehension

*Honors Placement Appeal Option
Students who scored a 4 or 5 on the required stanines may attend a writing evaluation session and submit writing samples for both courses. For questions, contact Anne Stone (English) or Jeremy Morse (World Cultures).

Writing session dates are May 12 or May 21 | 4:30 - 6:30 pm

Register for Honors Placement Appeal Exam
 

Mathematics

All freshmen are placed in College Prep Algebra I. Honors Algebra I or placement out of Algebra I requires the JPII Math Placement Exam.

Exam dates are May 9 & 16 at 10:00 am.

Alternate dates (for transfers and late applicants ONLY) June 8th & July 20th at 10 am.

World Languages

Spanish: Freshmen selecting Spanish are placed in Spanish I. Placement out requires the Avant Spanish Placement Exam ($26). Exam dates are May 9 & 16 at 8:00 am.

Alternate Dates for Transfers and Late Applicants ONLY: June 8th & July 20th at 8 am.

Chinese: Freshmen selecting Chinese are placed in Chinese I. Placement out of Chinese I requires the JPII Chinese placement exam. Exam dates are May 4 & 6 at 3:45 pm.
