JPII Cares About the Safety of Your Student

We have a fundamental obligation and deep commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students and their families.

To achieve this, the Diocese of Dallas has a Safe Environment Program that implements training, screening, background checks, and other procedures designed to reduce the risk of sexual abuse of children and vulnerable adults. John Paul II High School, along with surrounding parishes, the Diocese of Dallas, and other Catholic schools, is responsible for the program's implementation and continuation.

Background Checks and Safe Environment Training are required for all Diocesan institutions' faculty, staff, and volunteers. You may complete the training at your local parish. Additionally, John Paul II High School offers training and interviews on campus. For more information on Safe Environment, including Safe Environment documentation, please see the Diocesan Safe Environment Webpage.

If you wish to volunteer at JPII, please complete the Diocesan Screening Form. Once complete, schedule a meeting with Mark Crawford, Director of Human Resources and Safe Environment Coordinator, for training and interview.

Have you already completed the Diocesan Safe Environment process? If so, please contact Mark Crawford, Director of Human Resources and Safe Environment Coordinator, to confirm clearance.
