Mr. Robert S. Gharis, B.S., CLS, MT(ASCP)
Mr. Robert Gharis is Chief Operating Officer at John Paul II High School.
Mr. Gharis graduated with Highest Honors from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 1986 with a degree in Clinical Laboratory Science.
In 1987, he passed the American Society of Clinical Pathologists Board of Certifications exam and joined the Transplant Immunology department at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas working with kidney, liver, bone marrow, and heart/lung transplants.
After Apple developed their brand of personal computers, Mr. Gharis' father began developing medical and dental practice management software and the family traveled to medical trade shows all over the United States.
After selling the company, Mr. Gharis began a successful career investing in real estate and was asked by Mr. Thomas Poore to join the staff at John Paul II High School in 2011. He was named Chief Operating Officer in January 2019.
Mr. Gharis and his wife Cathy have four boys and enjoy reading, cooking, walking, and traveling.
