Mr. George Teague

George Teague is the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at John Paul II High School. Mr. Teague oversees the daily operations of all athletic teams and athletic facilities. He is responsible for supervising the athletic trainer, assistant athletic director and all coaches of all athletic teams.
 
Mr. Teague was a standout football player from 1989 -1993 at the University of Alabama and was voted permanent captain during the 1992 National Championship Season. Mr. Teague was also a first-round draft pick for the Green Bay Packers.  His nine-year NFL career included one year with the Miami Dolphins and five years with the Dallas Cowboys. While the Super Bowl eluded him, he participated in 11 post-season games. He held the NFL record for the longest interception return in playoff history with a 101-yard interception that was returned for a touchdown.
 
In 2004, Mr. Teague served as Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Harvest Christian Academy. Then in June, 2007, he became Athletic Director and Development Officer at Carrollton Christian Academy (CCA) and then was named Head Football Coach there in 2008. In 2011, Mr. Teague was named Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Shelton School.
 
Mr. Teague has been married for 25 years to Consuela, his high school sweetheart. They have two children, a son named James who is 25 years old and a daughter named Jada who is 18 years old.
