International Applicants

INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS

International students must meet the same requirements as all other students and be fluent in English, reading, writing and speaking. International students must demonstrate their English ability through the admissions process and also by taking either the TOEFL or the iTEP SLATE and must interview, in person, prior to acceptance.

All international students who wish to be considered for admission to John Paul II High School must complete the following:

  • Online Application
  • $100.00 application fee
  • Foreign Credentials: Complete the FSCA Application to arrange for an evaluation of school transcripts, and have the evaluation sent to John Paul II High School. Request a General Statement of Equivalency if the student has completed only Middle School (grades 6-8) or a Detailed Evaluation of Coursework if the student has completed any high school (grades 9-11.)
  • Two teacher recommendations: Teacher Recommendations can be found as part of the online application.  Please print the two recommendation forms and deliver them to your current school. The recommendations must be translated into English.
  • ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam): Please visit www.iseetest.org for more information regarding this required exam.
  • TOEFL
  • Interview: Interviews will be held in early 2024
  • Extended Response Questions

An I-20 will not be issued until the student is accepted as a student at John Paul II High School. Once the I-20 has been issued, the student must enter the country on the F1 to enroll in classes at John Paul II High School.

Any international student enrolling for the first time at John Paul II High School will be assessed an additional fee of $7,500.00.
