Understanding the intricacies of the college admission process can be complex. It’s a dynamic, shifting, endlessly unpredictable environment where the realities and norms vary from year to year. Thus, it is crucial that students and parents begin the process of college planning early and that they conduct research of prospective schools thoroughly.

As the Director of College Counseling at John Paul II High School, I would like to help you start thinking about the process in order to prepare you for the many decisions and procedures required. As you embark on this journey, try to be both self-aware and open.
At JPII, our college counseling process will be highly personalized. I want to get to know your strengths and budding passions, and in turn, I will encourage and challenge you to expand your academic and extracurricular interests to strengthen your college profile.

Please browse through the resources on this page and let me know if you have any questions or if you would like to set up an appointment.
