Congratulations to the JPIIHS Varsity Boy’s Tennis Team for winning 1st place in TAPPS 6A district. The Girl’s team took 3rd place in district. Congratulations to Rogelio Gonzalez for winning 1st place in the Boy’s 6A single state finals. The Boy’s team finished 2nd overall this year at the state playoffs.

The JPIIHS Fine Arts Department will be presenting Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music. This classic favorite will be presented on Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8 at 7:00pm, and a Sunday Matinee on April 9 at 2:30pm. Tickets are $10 for Students and $12 for General admission. Tickets will be sold at the door.

The National Art Honor Society is collecting gently used or new children’s summer clothes sizes 2T-6T for Vogel Alcove, a childcare facility for homeless children in Dallas.
