Campus Improvement Plan


JPIIHS Community:

All schools in the diocese were required by the Catholic Schools Office to form a Campus Improvement Committee with the goal of developing the Campus Improvement Plan for the school.  The committee met over a period of five months to develop the plan.  The members of the committee included:
Mr. Mininger - Chairperson, Dean of Curriculum and Instruction
Mr. Poore - President
Mr. McPheeters - Vice-President of Finance/Administration
Mrs. Fleming - Executive Director for Advancement/Communications
Dr. Hammerle - Associate Dean of Curriculum and Instruction
Mr. Gharis - Director of Facilities Operations
Mrs. Cernoch - Teacher and Chair of English Department
Sister Peggy Szeljack - Teacher and Director of Ministries
Mrs. Nelson - Teacher and Coordinator of Student Services
Mr. Wade - Teacher and Chair of Social Studies Department
Ms. Downs - Teacher and Academic Decathlon Coach
Mrs. Gray - Parent
Mrs. Larson - Parent
The subcommittee Chair for each area of the plan were: Sister Peggy, Mr. McPheeters, Mrs. Cernoch, and Mr. Gharis.  Below are the set of goals for the school's Campus Improvement Plan.  We will be monitoring the implementation of the goals for the rest of this year and next year and adjust as needed.  For all schools, the final plan is taken from the four areas identified by the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools, which include Mission and Catholic Identity, Governance and Leadership, Academic Excellence, and Operational Vitality.
