John Paul II High School provides a comprehensive guidance and counseling experience for students and families.
The Guidance and Counseling Office focuses on the specific needs and concerns of the students and families, based on the grade level of the students. Counselors serve students by grade level.
Counselors for grades 9 and 10 help students adjust to high school life.
Counselors serving grades 11 and 12 continue to help with these transitions, while shifting the focus to post-secondary issues as well.
Guidance and counseling culminates the Senior year, with intensive assistance in navigating the college application process. The school uses Naviance software to allow parents and students to engage fully in the guidance and counseling offered.
