Candidates are accepted on the basis of their personal and academic qualifications and potential, without discrimination as to race, color, creed, or national/ethnic origin. The evaluation of individual applicants is based upon:
- An application is requested from the Office of Admission. Prospective students or parents may either request the Office of Admission mail an application or they may download the application directly from our web site by clicking here.
- Register for the ISEE Exam. The ISEE Student Guide and registration form are mailed with each application. Parents are responsible for completing and submitting the form to the Educational Records Bureau (ERB) in Princeton, New Jersey. Only test scores received directly from ISEE will be accepted by John Paul II High School. The school code for John Paul II is 447590.
- Schedule an Interview. All prospective students must schedule a fifteen to twenty minute on-campus personal interview. Please call the Office of Admission to make an appoitment for an interview.
- Submit a complete application to the Office of Admission. A completed file includes an application, a completed on-campus personal interview, official test results from the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam), a personal essay and official transcripts and recommendations from the applicant's current school, a photo of the student and the application fee of $100.00.
- Priority Decision Letters will be mailed on March 14, 2008
- Cardinal Commitment Day is March 28, 2008
