John Paul II High School Receives Accreditation from the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department:  In a letter dated December 9, 2005 the TCCED granted accreditation to John Paul II High School for a period of five years.  The TCCED accreditation team visited in late October 2005.  During the visit they reviewed the school's curriculum, financial and administrative infrastructure and met with students and teachers. Their report commended JPII on a number of items, but especially mentioned the high caliber of the faculty and the strong sense of community present in the school.
