IMPORTANT ACCOUNCEMENT FOR PARENTS AND STUDENTS
In an effort to streamline procedures and secure student payments within John Paul II High School, we are now moving the collection of monies away from the front desk reception area. We have listed below the changes and items effected.
LUNCH PROCEDURE CHANGE
Effective March 1, 2008 lunch check monies will no longer be brought to the reception desk. There is a section of mailboxes that has been installed under the stairwell across from the reception desk.
There will be envelopes provided at the mailbox area for students to complete and enclose their monies. After the envelope is sealed the student will drop the envelope into the “FINANCE” mailbox.
All monies that are to be posted for the day must be in the “FINANCE” mailbox by 8:45 a.m. in order to be posted for the current day. A finance department representative will collect the monies and they will be posted daily to the lunch accounts. As before, the dining hall account balance will be listed on the dining hall receipt at each purchase.
PLEASE BE SURE THE ENVELOPE IS FILLED OUT COMPLETELY INCLUDING STUDENT NAME, STUDENT ID# AND CHECK AMOUNT. IF THE CHECK IS FOR TWO STUDENTS PLEASE MAKE SURE THIS IS INDICATED ON THE ENVELOPE.
TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT PROCEDURE CHANGE
Effective March 1, 2008 the reception desk will no longer accept monies for Technology Department items such as: badges (I.D.) lanyards, paper and plastic cases. These items will be purchased at the Technology help desk area.
REGISTRAR’S OFFICE
Effective March 1, 2008 the reception desk will no longer take monies for transcripts. Students will be directed to the Registrar’s Office for this purchase.
